Step by step
We will start by cutting the roll of paper around up to a quarter, and we will begin by wrapping it with the yarn until it is well covered; depending on the thickness of our yarn, you will see if it is necessary to do an extra layer.
Finishing this step, we make the hands that will also be created of yarn. The procedure is wrapping more yarn around many long strips; the idea is to try to make an oval shape for the hands and press firmly so that it does not come undone.
To create the hat, we take quite a few strands of yarn and wind them into a thick strip of yarn, finished this, we take the two ends, place them on top of the paper roll, and with a stripe, we press and secure it in place.
Then we trim it a bit because this will be our pompom on the top of the head, and we will comb it so that it gives us a more fluffy shape, the same procedure to do with the beard to give a fluffy look.
We secure all the pieces with hot silicone and give them a few touches to give them detail, such as the pompom nose and extra decoration to personal taste.
And there you have it: a quick and easy gnome for decorating according to the season the colors might be changed.
