Today. I'll show you how to make beautiful rolled paper flowers with a cutting machine.
Besides, I've put together some great tips on how to make these beautiful flowers.
Paper flowers are ideal for adding color to any room. Plus, they won't wilt or fade over time like real flowers, making them outstanding decorations for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, and much more!

Materials
  • shadow box
  • quilling tool or tweezers
  • cardboard
  • adhesive vinyl
  • transfer tape
  • glue gun
  • Cricut Explore Air or Cricut Maker
You can find the materials you need in my Amazon list, too

Depending on how big your shadow box is will depend on how many paper flowers you need to make.
The shadow box I'm using is 8x8
The flowers used are 8cm in size on display, ready to cut, and in a total of 49 rolled flowers.
Turning on either Cricut space or Silhouette Studio, the flowers can be resized to fit the project.
I cut the flowers with my Cricut Maker cutting on the green mat. Once the first mat is ready, remove the excess cardstock. And remove the rings of the circular flowers where they come out perfectly, or you can help yourself with a weeding tool to detach them from the mat. You can use a scraper to peel them off or flip the mat over and peel the mat off the cardstock, whichever is more convenient for you. So you continue this process until you finish the 49 flowers.

Once this process is finished, it is time to start rolling. Using my quilling tool, but before rolling, I'll give them some shape, so I used a ball tool to roll the edges, finished this I started rolling flower after flower
... be patient, one by one.
Once they are rolled up, I arrange the flowers on the workspace, so first; I position them to fill the space, then I use hot glue to glue the bottoms of each bud to place them on the shadow box. I prefer hot glue because the process is a bit faster but be careful not to burn your fingers.
  • *Hot glue gun. Sets up so quickly.

Then, if you want to make it more unique, add some monograms or a picture to the front of the shadow box.
So, once I have my design ready, I cut it again on my Cricut machine with the vinyl settings, it cuts, and then I weed the extra vinyl.
Next, I removed the glass from the shadow box to ensure it was clean before applying the vinyl. Apply transfer tape to the vinyl before applying, center it on the glass, flip a corner of the paper over, remove the backing, and gently place the vinyl on the glass.
Smooth it out and then use a scraper to adhere it to the glass.
Now it's time to put the shadow box back together.
This a beautiful gift idea for anyone.
I have a full YouTube video of the entire process; let's check it out.
